Our Ministry

Four12 youth group is a ministry of Full Faith Christian Center of Chariton, IA. Our mission here at four12 is to empower the youth of today. This generation that will be the future spiritual leaders of this world.

Four12 youth group was established on the principles taught in four, 4:12 scriptures of the bible. It is our mission to learn and impliment what is taught in these passages, and to create TRUE disciples of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. These passages are:

Acts 4:12 (Contemporary English Version)
(12) Only Jesus has the power to save! His name is the only one in all the world that can save anyone.

Ephesians 4:12 (New Living Translation)
(12) Their responsibility is to equip God's people to do His work and build up the church, the body of Christ.

1 Thessalonians 4:12 The Message
(12) We want you living in a way that will command the respect of outsiders, not lying around sponging off your friends.

1 Timothy 4:12 New King James Version
(12) Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

Our Pastor

Four12 youth group is led by Pastor Joshua Verwers. Josh is an Ordained minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and is a member in good standing with the Association of Faith Churches and Ministers. He has been the Assistant Pastor of Full Faith Christian Center since 2008 and has been a vital part of this ministry. Josh brings a youthful attitude and expectancy to the way he ministers God's Word and is determined to help shape our future leaders.

Josh is married to his wife Genevieve and together they have four wonderful children, Kierra, Logan, Reagan and Micah.
